Time is an illusion, but the start of a new year is an opportunity to begin a new chapter in one’s life. Here are three ways to make it a better and more progressive year:
1. Make notes.
Good ideas should never be wasted! Reflection is priceless tool for progress.
2. Focus on the little things.
Working from the bottom, from the more intricate details is the most effortless way to tackle the big picture. Thinking about everything at once is overwhelming and leads to procrastination, cold feet, overthinking negatives.
Make it a habit to break down your working surface to smaller areas, organized in a clear way (by type of work, length of time it takes etc.). Living progressively is about being a being a good project manager, and that requires organizing your work space effectively.
3. Stay consistent.
Things go wrong all the time, the world is full of chaos, there are many factors we cannot control. Don’t lose track of your goals, don’t let setbacks leave you stagnant. Always look for another window when a door closes, and stay consistent.
Most things don’t come easy, perseverance and hard work are necessary.
